PCS offers three primary coating services to complement our plate cutting, bending, and steel processing services. Coating is often the last step in fabricating a steel part and we are here to help. Coating steel adds longevity, durability, and aesthetics to your product. We have order minimums as listed below as coating is a secondary service for us, not a primary one. See below for the three types of coatings we currently offer; hot dip galvanizing, powder coating, and liquid based coating.
Best for exterior steel plates that will be exposed to extensive weathering. We send all of our steel requiring a galvanized finish to AZZ Galvanizing in Chelsea OK or other AZZ locations if part size is too large. HDG coatings are per ASTM A123 standards. Min. order size – 2,000 Lbs.
Best for aesthetics and durability. Parts have dry powder applied through a electrostatic sprayer and then are sent into an oven for curing. PCS sub contracts powder coating services to vetted suppliers. Many colors are available and feel free to inquire. Min. order size – 500 Lbs.

Standard Colors: white, safety yellow, orange, royal blue, gray, red, black gloss, black flat, textured brown, textured beige, and zinc primer

Best for an economical coating. Various Sherwin Williams liquid coatings, primers, epoxies, enamels, and urethane-based coatings can be applied through our Graco airless sprayers. Custom colors available depending on volume. Min. order size – 500 Lbs.
